艺术基础提升班

This course serves as an essential foundation for mastering the arts, covering all fundamental principles necessary for student’s development. Throughout the program, participants will delve into key topics including observation, structure, perspective, colour theory, and design. We will also focus on draftsmanship and a completed final outcome over quick exercises.

Requirements: Individual who is interested in art with beginner experience (Grade 7-10 but not limited)

Need: Ipad (Procreate), Sketchbook, HB Sketching pencil kit, Eraser,

Level One: Basics

Description: This foundational course develops students’ ability to observe and capture real-life subjects through quick, expressive drawings. Emphasis is placed on gesture, perspective, light, and texture to sharpen visual and technical skills.

Level Two: Structure

Description: In this level, students will delve into techniques that will enhance their ability to envision in 3-dimensional space. Through guided instructions, instructors will be equipping the participants with the necessary skills to bring depth into their art.

Level Three: Render and Colour

Description: Through a combination of sketching and painting techniques, students will master the art of rendering detailed drawings. Moreover, they will explore the nuanced interplay of light and value to create various surfaces- such as silk, metal, or transparent materials. Additionally, participants will explore colour theory, examining how different hues evoke distinct emotions.

Level Four: Anatomy

Description: This level focuses on refining students’ artistic abilities through mastering the nuances of human anatomy. Students will delve into the complexities of figure drawing, emphasizing accurate structure, proportions, and expressive portraiture. Building on foundational skills in structure, color theory, and rendering from earlier courses, this module integrates those principles into an exploration of the human form.

Level Five: Storytelling

Description: In the final unit, students will embark on a journey to showcase their creativity and storytelling. Building upon their understanding of art fundamentals, this unit serves a pivotal bridge towards cultivating their unique artistic identity and creative thinking.
